Intel RealSense LiDAR Camera L515

The Intel RealSenseTM LiDAR Camera L515 is Intel’s first release of a LiDAR camera that enables highly accurate depth detection in a small form factor.

Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, the L515 is 61mm in diameter and 26mm in height. Weighing in at approximately 100 grams, it is designed to be easily placed on a system or attached to a tablet or phone. It also operates at less than 3.5W, significantly less than competing time-of-flight (TOF) solutions that cover the same maximum object distance. Since all depth calculations are performed on the device, there are also few host compute requirements resulting in true platform independence.

With a short exposure time of <100ns per dieptepunt, kunnen zelfs snel bewegende objecten worden vastgelegd met minimale bewegingsonscherpte. De L515 is geoptimaliseerd voor binnenverlichting en verwerkt meer dan 23 miljoen dieptepunten per seconde via een op maat gemaakte ASIC. Het product is ontworpen voor flexibiliteit in gebruikssituaties door de toevoeging van een RGB-camera en een inertiële meeteenheid.
