Details
The Stereolabs ZED 2 is a high-quality 3D camera for a wide range of applications. The camera comes with two 4MP cameras that enable 2K (4416 x 1242Px) recordings at a frame rate of up to 100Hz. In addition, the camera is equipped with an integrated IMU, barometer & magnetometer and a 120° wide-angle lens that covers the edges.
The ZED features a large support of third-party software such as augmented reality, perception or machine vision algorithm. Therefore, the Stereolabs camera is used in a variety of projects, mainly in the field of human robot interaction & 3D mapping.
Characteristics
- Neural depth sensitivity: The ZED 2 is the first stereo camera to use neural networks to reproduce human vision, taking stereo perception to a new level.
- Built-in IMU, Barometer & Magnetometer: Multi-sensor recording made easy. Collect real-time synchronized inertial, altitude and magnetic field data in addition to image and depth.
- 120° Wide-angle field of view: With its 16:9 native sensors and ultra-sharp 8-element all-glass lenses, capture video and depth with a field of view of up to 120°.
- Spatial Object Detection: Detect objects with spatial context. Combine AI with 3D localization to create the next generation of spatial awareness.
- Improved Positioning: Take advantage of a wide-angle FOV, advanced sensor stack and thermal calibration for vastly improved positional tracking accuracy.
- Connected to the cloud: Monitor and control your camera remotely. Using a dedicated cloud platform, you can capture and analyze 3D data from anywhere in the world.
